Soul-Body Relation

What do you think about when you consider the relation between soul and body? You probably know that these two substances are connected but not necessarily how… According to G.W Leibniz, the body and soul share a pre-established harmony. In other words, they do not have an affect on each other, but instead they embody one another. There is no causal connection between the body and soul because they correspond, they do not interact. Both of these substances represent each other while still following their own law.

“God created the universe in such a way that the soul and the body, each acting according to its laws, agree in their phenomena” – G.W Leibniz

There are many reasons as to why these profound ideas resonate with me. I am passionate about sacred geometry, therefore I appreciate Leibniz’s view that all substances reflect the whole universe. This can easily be observed when looking at fractals… Not only do all aspects of a fractal represent each other, but they also mirror a Universal Divine Law.

As much as I value Leibniz’s view on the soul-body relation, I can’t help but ponder on my own ideas. First off, how do we know that the mind and soul are one? Does the mind come from the soul or does the soul come from the mind? I mean, only things with minds have souls… right? Did God create sacred geometry or is sacred geometry, God? Regardless of this, it’s safe to believe that we mirror the entire universe. God is perfect and self organizing. We may not always see his perfection, but only because our minds are finite and cannot comprehend such Divine Love.

The video below touches on sacred geometry for those of you who are interested in learning more…

This almost takes me back to a Math Analysis class I had in high school. Fractals are so intriguing and they are mesmerizing to look at. I love this post about the connection of the mind, soul and body and I think you are incredibly accurate to describe them this way.
I’ve been having kind of a blah day and your post is added to a list of uplifting posts today! Thank you for that and I enjoy your blog, very much! ❤
